A key part of achieving this is the appointment of a newly created COO role to be the leader across the various business services and realize the strategic goals and potential of the company. This business provides large-scale fabrication and industrial services across Queensland, primarily to the mining, ports, large manufacturing, and milling industries. With over 160 staff, multiple facilities, and an enviable list of clients, they are in an excellent position to continue to grow, improve operational performance, and client engagement. Based in Mackay and reporting to the Managing Director, the COO position will be the key leader focused on continuous improvement, strong operational performance, commercial decision-making, and client engagement. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a real difference by leading an established business into the next phase of its journey. The role will suit an experienced leader who is familiar with large-scale industrial services and/or fabrication in heavy industries (particularly those servicing mining and/or ports). Experience working on the supplier and/or owner-operator side will be highly regarded, as will familiarity with the Queensland client base across these industries.
