We are looking for our next Chief Product Officer. We are a work from home organisation with a head office in Sydney and would expect this role to travel to Sydney frequently. Job Description The Chief Product Officer is responsible for leading the development and execution of Axe's product strategy. This includes identifying and addressing customer and potential customer needs, managing a product development team, and ensuring the product aligns with the overall company strategy. The Chief Product Officer is also responsible for driving product innovation and staying up-to-date with industry trends. Additionally, the Chief Product Officer will assist with setting product pricing and working with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies. The Chief Product Officer will be a key member of the leadership team and report to the CEO. They will lead a team of Product Managers, Solution Architects, and BAs in developing the Axe products and packaging them for release. Desired Skills and Experience Responsibilities: Axe's business model is built around developing and selling insurance software products that provide a strong financial return and enable Axe to grow quickly. The key is to build products we can readily resell to multiple clients. The key responsibilities are: Set the product vision. Set the product price lists. Manage the development of the products and model implementation versions. Manage the team, set job goals, conduct performance reviews, interview new staff, and maintain a training program for new and existing staff. Set the roadmap for product development and the schedule for other tasks, taking into account the requirements of clients and Axe staff. Provide clients with roadmaps of planned updates and offer regular demonstrations of new features. Provide documentation and training for the Axe and client implementation teams. Control the costs of product development. Assist the marketing team in promoting the product. Attend sales events and product demonstrations and articulate the quality and value of the product. Provide regular reports for the CEO and leadership teams on the financial impact and progress of product development and support work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
