Deliver primary health care with the Northern Territory's largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. Salaries starting at $118,072 per annum. Effective Salary starts at $185,106 per annum. About the role We are looking for a Full-Time Child Health Nurse to join our clinic team in Ntaria. The Child Health Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner works within a multidisciplinary team to support the health and development of Aboriginal Children between 0-5 years living in Ntaria, Wallace Rockhole and Utju Communities. The position is a case management role and carries out clinic based and outreach work including comprehensive child health and developmental assessments, appropriate referrals and follow up, maintaining immunisation schedules and supporting access to appropriate health services for children. If you have: Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Demonstrated clinical experience in a primary care or similar setting Commitment to integrating Aboriginal values in practice Working knowledge of Child Health and an understanding of current practices, theories and values Willingness for, and understanding of, remote area work The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and bring exceptional clinical skills, a proactive adaptable attitude, and a genuine respect for diverse patient backgrounds, we want you!
