Child Protection Central Information Point Officer Join to apply for the Child Protection Central Information Point Officer role at Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing THE ROLE The Child Protection Central Information Point (CIP) Officer will work in a multi-disciplinary team co-located in the CIP Operations Unit in FSV, with staff from Victoria Police, Corrections Victoria, and the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, all of whom perform the role of CIP Data Custodians for their respective agencies. The CIP Data Custodians provide a summary of targeted information upon request from family violence agencies. The Child Protection CIP Officer accesses the Child Protection Client Relationship Information System (CRIS) to assess and collate family violence information. This information will contribute to a consolidated report, which will assist in forming a comprehensive family violence risk assessment to keep victim survivors of family violence safe. Accountabilities Include Provide relevant advice on data held within DFFH databases, summarising information to support risk assessment and management of family violence. Input and contribute to the preparation of CIP reports including the appropriate analysis of available information in a timely manner. Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the department and work in collaboration with key stakeholders. How To Apply Please open the position description to read more.
