Hours per fortnight 73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. Duties To conduct as Solicitor and Counsel routine and complex child safety and family law matters on behalf of the State of Tasmania, its instrumentalities and Agencies before a range of Courts and Tribunals. Undertake legal research and advise Government Agencies and instrumentalities on complex child safety and family law legal matters. Provide professional supervision and instruction to junior legal practitioners, including allocating and supervising professional legal work. To participate in performance management and file reviews as directed by the Director of Public Prosecutions. Such matters as directed by the Director and Assistant Director. Essential Requirements Admitted or eligible for admission as a Barrister or Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania. A Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People. Current drivers licence.
