Role: We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee the exceptional delivery of operational and regulatory standards across a portfolio of early learning services. This role involves driving enrolments, enhancing profitability, and ensuring that each service operates in alignment with Montessori Academy’s philosophy, policies, and the National Quality Standards (NQS). You will be overseeing 5-7 centres and support Nominated Supervisors, empowering them to achieve excellence in their roles while maintaining compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and compliance across multiple childcare services. Guide and mentor Nominated Supervisors to achieve high performance. Monitor enrolments and drive business growth. Ensure services adhere to the National Quality Framework, including NQS and EYLF. Support effective family communication and engagement. Manage staffing, rosters, and resource allocation efficiently. Strong knowledge of industry legislation, compliance, and regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership and mentoring abilities. Solid business and management acumen. Passion for early learning and a commitment to delivering quality education. Understanding of the Montessori philosophy (preferred, but not essential). A minimum of 2 years experience managing multiple childcare services. Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (approved by ACECQA). Current Working with Children Check. First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one). Availability to work shifts between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. In-depth understanding of the National Quality Framework, NQS, and EYLF.
