The Project Delivery branch manages the ten-year capital works program and the coordination and delivery of all capital projects (other than minor works projects) to provide ‘cradle to grave’ project management and focuses on total program delivery within budget and time constraints. The branch plays a leading role in community and councillor coordination and ensures value for money outcomes in all facets of project delivery. As a Civil Program Delivery Manager, you will: Apply your knowledge in project design and delivery for civil infrastructure projects and programs across the Sunshine Coast region. Coordinate, plan, develop, design, and deliver major and minor infrastructure projects from the Capital Works Program and asset renewal activities using best practice planning, design, and project management techniques. Partner with Council and Government agency strategic planners and service providers to maintain a high level of awareness of infrastructure design planning directions and issues. About you: As a requirement of this role, you will possess tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related field. You will possess a current C class driver's license and a Queensland White Card/Construction Industry Card. You will have demonstrated extensive experience in infrastructure planning and design, plus project planning and delivery on a medium to large scale. You will have outstanding communication, consultation, negotiation, networking, and advocacy skills to support strong relationships and agreements with staff, the community, consultants, and contractors. You will have excellent resource needs analysis and application solution skills for major and minor projects, along with proven abilities in project management, financial management, and human resources management.
