Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project! Clough , as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the ‘Project CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities. We are currently searching for a Civil QC Inspector to join our Karratha-based team (19:9 FIFO Rotation) on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Materials Manager, this position will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components throughout our operations. Responsibilities Inspect and verify the quality of civil works, materials, and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility of construction methods. Conduct regular site inspections and tests on materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Document and report on quality issues, including any non-compliance, defects, or deviations from standards, and work with the project team to resolve them. Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and engineers to ensure that all corrective actions are implemented and issues are addressed promptly. A supportive team culture and environment. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience (3+ years) as a Quality Control Inspector in civil engineering, construction, or related industries. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Proficiency in using inspection tools, measuring instruments, and relevant software.
