Base pay range A$73,000.00/yr - A$80,000.00/yr Salary Range: $73,000 - 80,000 p.aAs a Carpenter in our civil construction company, you will play a crucial role in constructing and installing structures using wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your expertise in cutting, shaping, and fitting timber parts will contribute directly to the successful completion of our projects. This position requires various specializations including but not limited to Fixing Carpenter and Formwork Carpenter which are crucial to our diverse construction projects.Key Responsibilities Interpret and study construction drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and construction procedures. Order, select, and procure timbers and other necessary materials, and meticulously prepare layouts to optimize efficiency. Cut materials precisely to size, shape them as per project requirements, and expertly assemble and secure components with precision. Assemble and prepare wood components off-site for on-site installation, ensuring readiness and accuracy. Skills And Requirements Proven experience as a Carpenter in civil construction or related field. Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools essential to carpentry. Ability to interpret and execute technical drawings and specifications accurately. Strong understanding of wood properties, materials, and construction techniques. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of construction work. Effective teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when required. Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet project deadlines.
