Rail Civil/Structural Engineer Ipswich or Norwich£45k-£75k Do you live within commuting distance of Ipswich and have a strong background in civil and structural engineering? Interested to work in the rail sector? A medium sized multi-disciplinary design consultancy is expanding their rail team. The role will include: Design of bridges and rail related buildings Inspections Design of station assets Gantry, footbridge, and canopy design Embankment design Rail project experience is desirable but not essential, as is Chartered status. You should have several years of UK based civil/structural design experience so that you can hit the ground running. Ideally, you will be able to assist in the development of junior engineers. The office is a 15 minute walk from Ipswich station, and parking is also possible locally. The firm also has a satellite office in Norwich, so working from here could also be possible. This is an office based role at least 3 days per week (more days preferred). Being an EOT, the employees own the company and are at the forefront of all company decisions.
