Heatley Secondary College is seeking an enthusiastic hardworking person to join our team of 12 cleaners. This role is being offered in part-time capacity (0.6FTE), 23 hours per week. About the Role The role of the Cleaner is to ensure that our school is clean and safe for students. You will be part of a 13 member cleaning team, where each cleaner has areas within the school to clean. The hours are worked across 5 days, divided into a split shift. Cleaners work additional hours to work up time off in the school vacation period. If you think you would like to join our team please include a two page resume including your cleaning experience and a current working referee. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards. Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays. Sweeping and vacuuming. Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans. Cleaning and maintaining equipment. Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary. Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces. Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings. Hosing. Removal of graffiti.
