What you will be doing in this role In this leadership role, you will offer guidance, support, and development to your team members. You'll foster a strong workforce by ensuring staff skills are continuously updated to meet both current and future needs. You will consistently ensure the hospital remains clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, following safety and infection control guidelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and supportive environment that reflects the hospital's commitment to providing high-quality care. You’ll have responsibility for a budget and need to ensure cost efficiency, while maintaining quality, and have ownership of the 24/7 rostering for your team. You’ll inspire and lead your team by creating a culture of high-performance, continuous improvement, evaluation and change. Who we’re looking for To be successful in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate your experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a healthcare environment, where you’re held accountable to very high industry standards. You’ll be a nurturing and patient leader, focussed on building a welcoming, inclusive and successful team where each individual can thrive. You’ll have outstanding communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and thrive on the consistent patient and stakeholder feedback that this role will bring. You’ll be highly motivated and organised and manage multiple priorities with ease. You’ll be used to having responsibility for a budget, rosters and be a skilled problem solver.
