We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Client Operations Manager for a well-established accounting & bookkeeping service company, servicing the Shoalhaven & Illawarra regions. In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day management of client operations, lead and mentor a high-performing team, streamline processes for efficiency, and contribute to the growth and development of the business. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations. Lead onboarding processes for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and setup. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance client service and operational efficiency. Prepare and analyse financial reports for clients and provide financial support. Manage the team, prioritising and allocating work tasks. Analyse operational performance metrics and recommend improvements for increased productivity. Lead training and development initiatives for staff to ensure professional growth and optimal performance. Review and prepare compliance work, including tax returns, business activity statements, tax planning, and advisory services. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field. Experience as a Chartered Accountant desirable. Prior experience in client operations in the accounting industry. Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset. Proficient in accounting software and CRM platforms. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
