As a Client Support Admin / Accounting Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience. Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as Client Support Admin / Accounting Assistant. This position will be responsible for providing support to our clients and external accounting team. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to follow up on matters, and will include a mix of administrative tasks and client communication. Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person. Handle client calls and emails, responding in a timely manner. Provide timely and professional responses to client questions regarding invoices, payments, and account status. Assist clients with onboarding and ensure all necessary documentation is collected and processed. Learn about various financial products and services offered by the company. Collaborate with the team to research client superfunds. Participate in meetings, taking notes, and providing administrative support. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service, focusing on building and maintaining long-term relationships. Prepare and distribute reports, invoices, and other financial documents. Organise and file financial records, ensuring compliance. Coordinate follow-ups with clients to gather required information or documentation. Work closely with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve client satisfaction. Create and maintain client files. Schedule appointments with clients, meetings, and follow-ups. Prepare documentation for meetings. Support the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting reports. Collaborate with the external accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. Process client orders, such as new company formations, trusts, or self-managed superannuation funds. Prepare and lodge application forms with various product providers. Liaise with internal teams and colleagues to resolve problems and find solutions. Liaise with external third parties. Provide general assistance with the processing of all administration tasks. Other duties as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (or currently pursuing the degree). A keen interest in the financial industry and a desire to pursue a career as a financial adviser. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and customer-centric approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
