The role In this role, you will be responsible for a high-performing team of sustainability advisors and analysts, maintaining corporate sustainability reporting, climate strategy and decarbonisation, sustainability strategy and environmental sustainability improvement, and communication and education. You will work in a collaborative nature to promote commitment to an embedded culture of climate action, broader sustainability improvement, and reporting compliance across the Group. Responsibilities Maintaining regulatory reporting compliance: Ensure the successful delivery of sustainability reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, including accountability for delivery of Adbri’s first ASRS Report. Managing risk: Providing guidance to minimise group-level business risk exposure within climate and environmental sustainability areas. Clear and inclusive communication and education: Build organisational sustainability awareness and capability, enabling collective action in delivering the sustainability and climate priorities, and ensuring internal management and operations reporting updates are provided on-time and to a high-quality. Leading and supporting the Climate & Sustainability team: ensuring team member development and success of team KPIs. What you will need to succeed Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively unsupervised, while also able to work within a team environment. Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong decision-making ability. Ability to critically review and offer improvement suggestions. Detailed technical and regulatory knowledge and project management experience to lead and deliver projects and reporting work scopes.
