Play a major role in the continued success of the Urgent Care Clinic in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) with the Northern Territory's largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. $135,350 to $138,820 per annum Effective Salary $165,053 to $168,992 per annum Ongoing full time contract Use your leadership skills to manage and coordinate short term episodic care for urgent conditions Advance your career with diverse cases and supported professional growth Achieve the balance of high standards of clinical care and client flow and ensuring cultural integrity Change lives, starting with your own About the role Lead a multidisciplinary team including General Practitioners, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Aboriginal Liaison Officers, Transport Officers and Medical Receptionists. Medicare Urgent Care Clinics are staffed by highly trained medical professionals and provide free (bulk billed) urgent health care. Within the service, culturally safe, equitable and accessible care is provided to all people, including vulnerable and young people within the community of Alice Springs and surrounding areas. Established within the Northside Congress Clinic, this purpose outfitted clinic is designed to reduce pressure on the hospital and emergency department and integrate local health services to meet the needs of the local community. Some weekend work required. What we’re looking for: A Clinic Manager registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in Clinical leadership. A practitioner who can build strong, trusting relationships with clients, the community and stakeholders. If you bring exceptional clinical and communication skills, a proactive, adaptable attitude, a genuine respect for diverse client backgrounds, we’d like to hear from you.
