Clinical Care Manager - Korongee Dementia Village Your new organisation Glenview Community Services are a leading Tasmanian aged care provider based in Hobart’s northern suburbs. Your new role As the Clinical Care Manager at Korongee Dementia Village, you will lead and support a nursing team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with dementia. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you’ll oversee clinical incident management and investigation, support and oversight of a team of Clinical Support Nurses and Registered Nurses working across the Village, ensure individualised Resident care and support of Residents with changing behaviours, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of nursing staff to deliver exceptional dementia care. Manage clinical compliance, accreditation, and care quality. Oversee the incident management process, including SIRS reporting and investigation. Coordinate AN-ACC assessments and clinical care planning. Support budget management and drive continuous improvement activities. Contribute to the broader Clinical Governance Leadership Team. Mandatory qualifications Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in aged care, including dementia care. Knowledge, skills, and experience Strong understanding of Aged Care Standards and best practice dementia care. Proven leadership skills in supervising, coaching, and mentoring a team. Comprehensive experience in clinical care coordination and care planning. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with sound judgment. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively. Familiarity with clinical systems and capacity to participate in an on-call roster.
