This role is advertised in conjunction with the permanent Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist – ICU position. About the role: The Clinical Director, Intensive Care will be a leader to deliver great care for Central Queenslanders and will influence the delivery of services across CQ Health. They will lead, inspire, and foster excellence in clinical outcomes, scholarship, and staff development. About you: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Intensive Care Medicine Specialist registration (or eligibility for) with AHPRA, requiring FCICM. Enrolment and maintenance of ongoing CME program with the appropriate bodies. What we offer: Total remuneration value of up to $528,432 p.a. is comprised of: A salary rate between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a. (L25 – L27) A salary rate between $210,332 - $244,313 p.a. (L18 – L24) 12.75% employer superannuation contribution 17.5% leave loading Additional Benefits: Professional Development Leave and Allowances ($21,500 p.a. / 3.6 Weeks) Overtime and on call allowances Motor Vehicle Allowance Attraction and Retention Incentive Allowance Generous Salary Sacrificing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Discounted Private Health Insurance Fitness Passport Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements: It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
