We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Critical Care (ICU/ED) registered nurse to join the Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section (RFDSSE ) as the Clinical Educator . The Role The Clinical Educator will be responsible for delivering the education and training programs for all clinical areas with a focus on the Continuing Education Program for our Retrieval and Emergency Care workforce, facilitating regular emergency drills and simulations, delivering training and undertaking assessments in Advanced Life Support and Airway Management in line with mandatory training and scope of practice. Critical Care Nursing, midwifery and aeromedical experience is highly desired. Other clinicians with extensive aeromedical experience are encouraged to apply. You will also collaborate with a talented team of highly skilled professionals to coordinate nursing and midwifery training activities for our Primary Care clinicians, supporting the delivery of improved health outcomes to the communities we serve. It is expected that the successful candidate will regularly undertake some Flight Nurse flying shifts to maintain clinical currency. Part Time / Job Share arrangement considered. Minimum Requirements Relevant nursing registration with AHPRA Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or willing to achieve within 6 months) Clinical competence in Critical Care/Emergency Care Maintenance of advanced clinical practice skills and competencies e.g.: BLS/ACLS Our Values: Our Values of Reliability, Care, Trust and Safety shape the way we work as individuals, as team members and with the communities we serve.
