Job Description

A remarkable opportunity for an experienced mental health professional who is passionate about making a positive impact within the mental health services in the Lower Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. Job specifications: Hospital based Monday to Friday role. Community based mental health care within the hospital. Competent in assessments & recommendations. Assist in hospital avoidance programs. Acute crisis management & plans within mental health. Discharge to the community team once assessment has been finalised. Autonomous work. Must be registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate. Holds a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years Mental health Nursing experience plus demonstrated expertise as a Clinical Nurse. Demonstrated expertise in the mental health nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
