Clinical Midwife (Midwifery Group Practice) (Hervey Bay) Queensland Health (Organisation site)Marie Gundesen Women's Unit, Hervey Bay Hospital An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Midwife (Midwifery Group Practice) to join the Marie Gundesen Women's Unit Team at the Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. Your opportunity: Provide expert clinical and patient-centred care within Marie Gundesen Midwifery Unit by supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective midwifery services consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice. Establish a collaborative midwifery service with individualised continuity of care through pregnancy, labour, and the early postnatal period. The Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) midwife will work in a caseload model with the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the achievement of quality care and monitoring of outcomes for her allocated women. Contribute to the ongoing development of the MGP using primary health care principles to enhance options of care and improve outcomes for women. Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $98,925 p.a., comprising salary between $54.45 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)).
