Clinical Nurse Educator - Community & Rural Health Service (531024) Department of HealthHospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals SthHospitals Sth - OOT Exec Dir of N&M Applications must be submitted by Sunday 02 February, 2025 11:55 PM AEST Award/Classification: Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 6 Employment type: Full Time Region: South Location: Working as part of a dedicated nursing and midwifery education team with Hospitals South, this role's portfolio of work is with the community and rural nursing teams and services. The Role: This role works within the education portfolio of community and rural health nursing with the following duties: Leads safe and quality nursing care through the advancement of evidenced based nursing practice in community and rural nursing utilising a lifelong learning and development framework. Plans, assesses, implements and comprehensively evaluates educational programs to ensure they align with the needs of the Organisation and the nursing workforce. Works within a Practice Development framework that fosters research, the implementation of evidenced based knowledge and person-centred care. Applies high level professional and clinical expertise in collaboration with nursing and multidisciplinary stakeholders to enact education and development strategies for nursing practice and the Organisation. Works in accordance with the strategic direction of Hospitals South and the Organisations Nursing and Midwifery Strategic Framework. Details of appointment: Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until the 4 February 2026. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. $114,851 to $121,886 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
