We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and develop the team and to coordinate the delivery of high quality care for our residents at Bethanie Dalyellup Aged Care Home. Bethanie Dalyellup is our newest site, with 120 beds across six small houses providing 24 hour care for people with diverse needs including dementia, palliative care and high care requirements. Working closely with the Facility Manager, you will play a key role in driving the customer experience across the broader site. As a clinical leader with a desire to develop your team to be the best they can be, you will demonstrate and uphold our values and genuinely care about your team and enriching the ageing experience for our residents. This role is offered on a permanent full time basis, working Monday to Friday. About You Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse Previous management experience within a clinical setting Demonstrated leadership to a multi-skilled team, with ability to motivate and inspire others Excellent customer service skills, with a customer focused approach Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders both within and external to the organisation. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to confidently use clinical information systems Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one) The Role Provide leadership and supervision for the clinical team to ensure care meets our residents’ expectations Work in conjunction with the Clinical Governance team to ensure the delivery of high quality clinical care that is customer focused and in accordance with all standards and legislation, and develop action plans to meet identified areas of improvement Relieve the Facility Manager as required, including during on call and scheduled leave Assess competency of all clinical employees on an ongoing basis and allocate training or mentoring where necessary Conduct or participate in resident reviews, meetings and clinical incident reviews Establish professional relationships with all new and existing residents and their families to ensure the clinical team provide customer focused care Review, analyse and implement quality improvement strategies Working with Bethanie Many of us work because we want to make a difference.
