About the Role This position is a specialist role, providing an effective clinical function, influencing the practice of nursing in allocated clinical area/s, both within and external to their health service. The position provides a global perspective of capacity and access demands, assisting clinical areas to meet local capacity issues and human resource management out of hours. Areas of responsibility will include the provision of leadership, clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development, and change management. Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries, and medical service.
