An exciting opportunity for skilled and experienced Registered Nurses exists to undertake a Clinical Nurse position for McCann ward. McCann Ward is an inpatient rehabilitation unit and manages patients from multiple specialties. About the role Support Clinical Manager in everyday running of the department including: stock management, education, HR matters, and liaising with Allied Health and Medical Officers. Be accountable for the delivery of direct patient care. Provide clinical support and direction to Registered, Enrolled, Graduate, Novice and Student Nurses. Demonstrate leadership qualities, be appropriately qualified, experienced and a motivated health professional who is able to impart their knowledge and expertise to ensure safe, high quality clinical care that meets relevant standards. Ensure a culture of clinical excellence, contemporary practice and professional development within the clinical specialty. Your main duties will include: Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Medical and Rehabilitation nursing. Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills. A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation. About you AHPRA Registration. The applicant must have a minimum of 3 years nursing experience. Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
