The Gladstone Integrated Service is located in Gladstone and consists of an Alcohol and Other Drugs Service, Adult Mental Health Service, Child, and Youth Mental Health Service and an Adult Mental Health Step-Up-Step Down Unit. The Gladstone Integrated Service provides specialised services for the population of Gladstone and the surrounding areas through a range of interventions including assessment, case management, therapeutic treatment, support, consultations, and referrals. About the role: This position is specific to, but not exclusively responsible for the delivery of recovery-oriented mental health services. The position provides high quality specialist mental health service to consumers with a mental illness or serious mental health problems and their families in keeping with professional and clinical standards. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide professional supervision pertaining to routine tasks to students and less experienced staff with the support of senior clinical staff. About you: The successful applicant must possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual nursing practicing certificate Division one (1) is essential. Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
