Position Profile: The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Aged Care is required to be responsible for coordination, planning, development and delivery of the Aged Care Programs for the South West Inland Multi-Purpose Services in accordance with the legislation and standards guidelines. Provides clinical support at an advanced practice level to staff and client groups. To be successful in this role, you will have: Possession of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent. Knowledge of residential and community aged care services and quality standards. Demonstrated ability in caring for older adults and commitment to continuously improving quality of care. Understanding of and demonstrated skills in assessment and care of people with dementia. Well-developed communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards.
