An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join our busy Perioperative Unit. We are an acute surgical facility comprising of 157 beds, owned and operated by Healthe Care Pty Ltd. Hurstville Private is located 16km southeast of Sydney's CBD and enjoys an employment of diverse culture mix and backgrounds. Who we are looking for As an enthusiastic Registered Nurse, you will be able to provide critical care to both complex and day surgery patients which include Robotic Surgery, Orthopaedic, Colorectal, Urology, General, Gynaecology and Obstetrics. Experience working in cardiothoracic and paediatric care is highly desirable for this position. As part of the Perioperative Unit you will work in a team that values professional development, commitment to excellence in patient care and appreciates your contributions. You will be supported by the Perioperative Service Manager, Clinical Educator, Clinical Nurse Specialists and an experienced Leadership Team who emphasise and promote ongoing education in the perioperative unit. Being a person that enjoys and thrives in a busy environment, to ensure your success in this role, you will have: Current Registration with AHPRA Degree in Nursing Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Perioperative Unit or equivalent Exceptional collaborative interpersonal, leadership and well-developed verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient centred care Evidence of participation in the National Standards and implementing policies within a Perioperative environment Experience with computerised reporting systems Commitment to Professional Development and to a structured learning program for all staff Membership of relevant professional organisation Completion of a recognised Graduate Nurse Program Tertiary qualifications in Health Management or Equivalent Evidence of continuing commitment to professional groups Completion of a mentor/preceptorship course If this sounds like you, then apply today and become a part of Healthe Care's Hurstville Private Hospital team.
