Currently we are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) (Clinical Research) to provide clinical research leadership and consultancy to nursing, medical, and allied health professionals for the Cardiothoracic Surgery department. The CNS coordinates departmental research teams to undertake clinical trials and clinical research that contributes to new knowledge and supports evidence-based best clinical practice. The CNS is responsible for integrating clinical and research areas, contributing specialist knowledge and expertise, and delivering quality patient care by developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, education of staff, and conducting research and quality improvement activities.
