Seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in the area of orthopaedic scrub/scout in our perioperative services department. St Luke's Care's major specialties include hand surgery, ENT, orthopaedics, plastics, gynaecology, paediatrics, and general surgery. Position Description: We are currently seeking an experienced operating theatre Registered Nurse for the role of orthopaedic scrub/scout CNS. This may be in the area of general orthopaedics, or in the sub-specialty areas of shoulder, foot, joint replacement or spinal surgery. To step up into the role of CNS, you will need to provide evidence of experience in the areas of safety and quality, clinical skills and leadership and management. Demonstrated knowledge of NSQHS standards and quality improvement principles Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage special projects efficiently Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills Advanced written and verbal skills.
