The Opportunity We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for an Oncology Pharmacist to join our team Epic Pharmacy North Sydney, located in Mater Hospital North Sydney. In this role, you’ll work alongside an experienced team, receive full oncology training, and collaborate with a broader clinical team to provide exceptional patient-centred care and deliver quality pharmacy services to cancer patients. Whether you are an experienced community Pharmacist seeking Hospital Pharmacy experience, or an aspiring Hospital Pharmacist looking to specialise in Oncology, we welcome your application. Full training will be provided to support your development. About the Role Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the supply of cancer therapies for day hospital and oncology unit patients. Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation. Dispense and supply medications and pharmacy products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Participate in the clinical screening of cancer therapy orders. Provide education and counselling to staff, patients, and allied health professionals on medication use and safety. Working Hours Weekend cover will be required on occasion. Saturday – 08:00AM to 04:00PM. About You We are seeking a registered pharmacist with experience in the Australian pharmacy sector, who has a team-focused attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You should be able to manage your workload efficiently and communicate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals. While Hospital or Oncology Pharmacy experience is highly regarded, it is not mandatory; experienced Community pharmacists are strongly encouraged to apply. Eligibility Requirements Current AHPRA-general registration as a Pharmacist. A minimum of 2 years of Community Pharmacy experience OR 1 year of Hospital Pharmacy experience.
