About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac. About the role Barwon Health in Geelong is seeking a clinical psychologist to join the McKellar Kids Rehab team. McKellar Kids Rehab incorporates the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS) and the Young Adults Transition Service (YATS). The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for psychological assessment and intervention in an interdisciplinary model for children and adolescents requiring rehabilitation after major illness, injury or elective procedures. This role will be predominantly based at McKellar Centre with some outreach to the community and other Barwon Health sites. Minimum Requirements A Masters or Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology Experience working with children and families Experience working with clients who have a variety of psychological and psychiatric conditions as a consequence of loss of function related to a medical condition About the culture You will have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled, professional, friendly and dedicated team who take pride in providing a high-quality service.
