Job Summary Healthy Kids at Play is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Psychologist to take on a pivotal leadership role in our growing multidisciplinary team. This position will oversee and provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior and provisional psychologists while leading the development and expansion of our psychology services. What We’re Looking For We are currently seeking a Psychology Team Leader to lead, mentor, and support our dedicated team of clinicians at our Werribee clinic. Key Responsibilities Supervision & Oversight: Provide clinical supervision, support, and oversight to junior and provisional psychologists, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. Team Development: Lead the establishment and growth of the psychology team, implementing best practices, fostering collaboration, and driving strategic initiatives. Psychological Services Delivery: Conduct psychological assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions for clients across various settings. Clinical Leadership: Develop and oversee the implementation of treatment plans, ensuring high standards of care and client outcomes. Collaboration: Work alongside multidisciplinary team members, including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and behaviour support practitioners, to provide holistic care. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure the maintenance of accurate client records and compliance with relevant legal, ethical, and NDIS standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong professional relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery. Professional Development: Drive ongoing learning within the psychology team through mentorship, training, and continuous professional development opportunities. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Psychology Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical supervision of provisional or junior psychologists Demonstrated experience in team leadership and service development Strong knowledge of psychological theories, assessments, and evidence-based interventions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team High-level organizational and time management skills Experience working within the NDIS framework is highly desirable.
