Position available at Approach Psychology for Clinical Psychologist / Registrar About us: Approach Psychology is a thriving and established psychology practice located in Gordon on Sydney’s North Shore. We seek a Clinical Psychologist to join our friendly team to work with child and adolescent clients, from mid-October to November 2024. The position is for 2-4 days per week, with the scope to include adult therapy in the future. There is flexibility around which days you choose to work. You will be well supported with frequent peer consultation opportunities and exceptional on-site administration. Our practice enjoys an excellent referral network from various sources (e.g., GPs, word-of-mouth, paediatricians, psychiatrists). We hold ourselves to very high standards of ethics and professionalism. Our beautifully appointed, comfortable, soothing offices are well-located, two minutes’ stroll from Gordon railway station, close to Gordon shops (including eateries, gym and medical centres), and ample parking is available in the surrounding streets. We provide our clinicians with all necessary facilities, aiming to make their workplace as supportive and enjoyable as possible. Why join Approach Psychology? A warm, friendly staff environment which includes frequent opportunities for debriefing and supervision. Supervision available with one of the experienced Senior Clinical Psychologists in the team, as well as the opportunity to join an after-hours Peer Supervision group. You have the autonomy to choose your caseload, caseload composition and appointment times. This can be flexible if your needs or preferences change. Modern Electronic Health record - admin staff will support you in paper or digital files. Library of treatment guides for CBT, ACT, schema therapy, eating disorders, autism, systemic and family therapies. Administrative support for any scanning, filing, correspondence, billing, scheduling, etc., in accordance with each clinician’s preferences.
