About the role The Clinical Support Nurse/Midwife (CSN/M) will support clinical learning in nursing and midwifery units in a practical and applied way to ensure nursing care and nursing practice are maintained at the highest level. The position is clinically based, and CSN/M will be included as a member of the Centre for Education and Training team and will anticipate and respond to the clinical practice needs of newly registered nurses, enrolled nurses and midwives working within the clinical area. The role also supports all clinicians working within the clinical area, including conducting competency-based skills, bedside coaching, and mentorship for safe patient outcomes. The role works in direct collaboration with the Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Educators, NUM/MUM and the Education and Training Leadership team.
