Full-time, 2-year fixed-term role, located at the Charles Perkins Centre Dynamic opportunity to work as a Clinical Trial Site Coordinator in a flexible, collegial and supportive work environment Base Salary $108,557 - $118,267 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity InsideOut Institute seeks a Clinical Trial Site Coordinator who will oversee the planning, initiation, and management of three large-scale interlinked research trials at the InsideOut Institute under the Australian Eating Disorders Research and Translation Centre. In this role, you will lead data collection, ensure resource acquisition, and maintain high standards of data management and regulatory compliance. The role will involve motivating and training site personnel, fostering collaboration across study sites, and ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice. You will operate under broad supervision, work independently to meet goals, resolve routine issues, and provide expert advice, while complex matters are handled with guidance from senior trial managers and investigators. Your key responsibilities will be to: Oversee clinical trials from initiation to close-out, ensuring effective execution and alignment with operational goals. Direct data collection, management, and regulatory compliance while adhering to ethical standards. Motivate, train, and foster relationships with key stakeholders, including site personnel, co-investigators, and students. Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the highest ethical and scientific standards throughout the trial process. Foster open communication, address stakeholder concerns, and build trust within the team and work networks. Oversee reporting, compliance, purchasing, risk management, and alignment with university policies under the direction of senior leadership. About you Bachelor’s degree in Health, Science, Psychology, or a relevant field. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively under broad direction, coordinating programs and clinical trials effectively. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiating, and conflict resolution skills, with tact and discretion in handling various matters. Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to prioritise workload in high-pressure environments. Expertise in clinical trial administration, including knowledge of ICH/GCP, ethical, and regulatory requirements, with experience planning and executing trials to high standards. Exceptional data collection and management, analysis, and reporting skills, including proficiency in research management and statistical software (e.g., EndNote, SPSS, STATA, SAS). Experience managing key internal and external stakeholders, with demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in a research-intensive environment.
