Salary: AUD125 - AUD160 per hour + $NEG-All fees disclosed 12 + 12 + 12 month contract - January 25 Start Obtain your Baseline Security Clearance Canberra address or remote / WFH Our client, a Federal Government organisation responsible for administering Australia's intellectual property rights system, are seeking the experience of a Cloud Backup & Storage Engineer for a 12+12+12 month contract. Duties of the Cloud Backup & Storage Engineer Assist in the design and optimisation of backup solutions in place taking into account cyber security considerations. Provide SME support for Cloud backup (AWS, Azure) including options for maximising security and minimising cost. Provide advice and consultancy for optimising backup solutions in a hybrid environment (multi-cloud and on prem). Provide specialist advice and consultancy for Cloud Storage options. Provide day to day support for Cloud backup services. Provided overflow support for on prem storage and backup services when the need arises. You will need Skills and Experience in: Cloud Storage and Backup – AWS & Azure (At least one). Multitenant backup solutions. Security Best Practice – Essential 8, ISM. Data Security – SSL Certs, Data Encryption, Access controls (AWS IAM, MS Active Directory). Data Movement – AWS DataSync, SCP, FTP. Linux Scripting – Bash, Python (At least one) (desired). Networking - DNS, Switching, Routing (desired).
