The Role: Club General Managers (CGM’s) are primarily responsible for the Club’s overall performance & operations. This role is based in Sippy Downs, and will be integral in driving a culture of excellence, community, high performance environment, working alongside our Executive Team, Regional Performance Managers and Directors. Key Responsibilities: Management of the Clubs overall budgets and financials, including Member Movement/Growth, EBIDTA, & Retention strategies. Overseeing a Big-box style gym with 3000+ members, with Crêche, Retail & Apparel store & café. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Club, ensuring our high-quality facilities are always maintained. Recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of staff members. Delivering training, mentoring and support for the Club Department Heads, running weekly meetings to engage & motivate your teams. Oversee staff rostering to ensure adequate staff coverage in all departments during Club operating hours, approving leave & fortnightly payroll. Using internal software systems including Clubware, Debit Success & Gym Sales to determine internal communications and procedures are being met and followed. Effectively plan, manage and execute club events, such as Open Days & 8-week challenges. Statistical Reporting & analysis. What you’ll need to succeed: Experience in a similar role - must be a Big Box Gym with more than 20 Staff and more than a 2,000 Member Club. Experience in a KPI driven environment with a natural drive to achieve targets and team goals. Ability to build rapport with people from varied walks of life with a desire to help people succeed in their goals. Growth mindset, with a genuine passion for fitness & sales. The ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles. Outstanding communication abilities - able to listen, understand, empathise and influence others. Customer-focused with a desire to achieve exceptional customer outcomes. Ability to be a role model and live by health values and behaviours while being passionate about the gym brand you work for. A "can do" attitude with a thirst for learning & ambition for growth. Be reliable, proactive, punctual, professional & well-presented. Have a strong work ethic. Be highly motivated & an adaptable team player with the ability to multitask and show initiative. Computer literacy & ability to learn new systems. Communicate & uphold, policies & procedures of the business to customers and staff. Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (if not holding, would be willing to acquire). Have Australian working rights.
