About the role As Club Manager you will be accountable for the operations of the Club and responsible for several key outcomes of the associated business. Your role is focused on Community, Experience and Results . The position plays a significant role in planning, driving sales and profitability, managing/overseeing personal training contractors, and above all creating a safe and welcoming environment for our members so that they feel supported and engaged from day one. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who are both sales and member-focused. Responsibilities Community and Engagement : Create a welcoming, fun atmosphere where members feel at home. Lead by example, whether through social media interactions, member onboarding, or wellness check-ins. Sales and Growth : Drive our presale campaign towards our new club opening day, and then continue to drive lead generation, membership growth, and retention strategies once we open. Your sales expertise will be essential in growing our club's success. Team Leadership : Manage, mentor, and motivate a small team of personal trainers to deliver top-notch member experiences and hit club targets. Facility and Wellness Management : Oversee daily club operations. Administration : including but not limited to reporting, budget planning, contractor invoicing, POS reconciliation etc. About you You are an energetic, passionate and goal-driven professional, with a proven ability to hit targets. You thrive in an upbeat work environment and love creating relationships with members and have the following: Be people-focused and highly organised. Have experience in building/recruiting a personal training team. Have experience building a club culture to be proud of and gain satisfaction from operating, selling and promoting an exceptional fitness facility! Experience in, or understanding of, human resource and work health and safety processes is desirable. Must have qualifications: Minimum Certificate III in Fitness or the ability to attain an equivalent qualification. No fitness qualification? We have you covered, you will be able to attain a basic fitness accreditation with us. Current First Aid certificate and CPR (or higher qualification). Must have appropriate police/working with children check. Tertiary qualifications in health, business or commerce or strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in a similar environment (e.g.: fitness, retail etc.) will be highly regarded.
