Add expected salary to your profile for insights. We are seeking a suitably qualified person for the role of Clubhouse Manager to join our friendly team. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be required to lead a small team of food & beverage staff. Our club operates 7 days per week from 8am to 6pm with the occasional evening dinner/function. The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the clubhouse, including managing food and beverage operations, customer service, staff supervision, rostering, inventory management and events while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety. The Clubhouse Manager will work closely with the Golf and Membership Manager, administration team, Chef and senior leadership to ensure alignment with the club’s goals. About Beerwah Golf Club Beerwah Golf Club is situated in the Glass House Region of the Sunshine Coast. Established in 1963, the Club has seen tremendous growth in the past four years, primarily due to two factors: The increase in the popularity of Golf post Covid. The population explosion within the popular Sunshine Coast Region. The Club is positioning itself, not to be only a first-class golf Course but to be a Community Hub, developing services and amenities beyond the golf course itself. Key Responsibilities Lead best practice standards in WHS and Human Resources management. Meet or exceed business targets. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Club and its activities to provide informed support, advice and promotion to members, guests and visitors. Provide leadership, maintaining and enhancing the club’s culture. Introduce initiatives that will optimise operations and processes of the Club’s food, beverage and gaming services. Monitor, deliver and report on Clubhouse Strategic Plan. Ongoing staff development and training. Overseeing the operation of the food, beverage and gaming business. Responsible for determining the operating hours of the clubhouse to balance service and profitability and within budget parameters. Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as necessary. Responsible for putting in place the most favourable sourcing contracts/arrangements and reviewing performance of same contracts/arrangements. Monitoring the quality of the product and service provided through feedback and reviews and taking action to improve any shortcomings. Required to operationally engage in the provision of F&B services to members and visitors. Personal Qualities and Professional Skills The ideal candidate: Has over two years’ experience and proven performance in food, beverage and gaming operations. Demonstrates strong leadership qualities. Has a good practical approach to developing operational policies and procedures, through a continuous improvement approach. Is Operationally Skilled: oversee and engage where required in the operational activities of the food, beverage and gaming services. Engaging Leader: Capable of creating a harmonious team environment and fostering a positive culture. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Current RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues - QLD) certification. A background or interest in golf would be advantageous.
