About the role We are seeking a strategic and driven Cluster Revenue Manager for our Lylo Brand who can apply their experience, knowledge and expertise to deliver optimal revenue management to the current and forthcoming Lylo portfolio. This role would ideally be located in Brisbane QLD however other locations where EVT currently operates could be considered. The role reports into EVT's Centralised Revenue Team (Revenue Services Team) along with Lylo Corporate Office and on property Hotel Managers. This role, in particular, is responsible for revenue strategy development, strategy integration, reporting implementation, system optimisation all set to grow revenue, maximise performance and drive transformation to ensure the Lylo Brand performs in all operating markets. Essential to success in this role, the Cluster Revenue Manager is a commercial thinker, skilled in analysis, proficient in deciding and initiating action, able to drive and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, experienced in persuading and influencing as well as having strong written communication skills. Key Responsibilities Provide Revenue Management services for the Lylo Branded Hotels driving performance, share and maximum profitability. Analysis and Reporting: Analyse daily hotel reports, RM systems, EVT proprietary reporting and other available data and identify opportunities to maximise hotel room and total revenue. Review and optimise distribution channels for hotel and competitor positioning, plus information accuracy. Analyse daily/weekly/monthly market performance information to assist reviews; identify improvements and competitor set strengths; and develop strategies to best capture available market share. Provide reporting and analysis for month-end corporate and channel reporting. Update hotel and group demand calendar, adding updates to hotel revenue strategy documents and/or RMS platforms. Generate weekly HP demand forecast, providing a synopsis for the hotel’s General Manager, Financial Controller and Lylo Corporate as to how the forecast was derived. Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports and presentations whilst providing an overview and recommendations. Generate yearly hotel revenue budget. Submit reporting in a timely manner and ensure delivery deadlines are met. Provide and implement pricing, rate restriction, room inventory and sales strategy recommendations based on trends identified through analysis. Manage and review RMS systems identifying system changes, demand updates and critical inputs in a timely and accurate manner. Provide Revenue Management expertise and leadership to all key stakeholders. Provide recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue management processes. Communication: Communicate brand initiatives, demand and market analysis to the cluster. Conduct weekly Revenue Management Strategy meetings to all key stakeholders. Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with key internal stakeholders, hotel teams and members of the RST to ensure timely and efficient information flow. Provide targeted and timely communication of results, achievements and challenges. Relationship: Work closely with key distribution partners (Agent / OTA / Wholesalers) and their account managers to ensure Lylo are driving commercial results and maximising RevPAR. Work closely with key group agents to ensure relationships are managed and maximised to drive production whilst protecting risk through active block reviews. Assist with hotel integrations into the LyLo hotels portfolio and/or into the RST portfolio including such tasks as but not limited to: RST report setup Checklist management and maintenance Distribution team liaison Task management and action for multiple distribution channels Marketing team liaison CX Manager liaison Revenue strategy recommendation with guidance; executing as such. Market Segment strategy and execution Leadership and Guidance Responsibilities Develop and implement a best-practice distribution and pricing framework for the LyLo portfolio. Lead the revenue strategy and distribution channel onboarding for all new LyLo properties. Growth of the portfolio may lead to leadership responsibility requiring guidance of existing and new team members within a small team to ensure their successful integration and strong revenue results of the Lylo portfolio. Project management, from time to time, as required within the Revenue Management scope. Group and Cluster Revenue report actioning, review and feedback. Working with the Marketing, Sales, Revenue, Senior Leadership team and Lylo Corporate to guide EVT’s hotel’s strong Revenue Performance. Driving improved processes within the RST function to drive efficiency and output. Skills & Experience Proven performance record with experience in managing and driving all market segments and channels. Yield management strategy and execution. Strong report writing, analysis and recommendation rationale. Strategic and tactical revenue and inventory management. Full suite of Microsoft Office. Strong internal and external stakeholder management. Experience and high level of competence with Revenue Management Systems. Experience within large to mid-sized independent hospitality organisations. Project management and decision making. Time management and prioritization. Property Management Configuration and Front Line level knowledge; preferably Opera.
