Job Description Make everyone’s day by pushing a trolley, serving coffees, and creating a warm, friendly environment where residents can come and enjoy a coffee, a treat, read a newspaper, etc. You will need to be welcoming, ready for a chat, able to serve coffees, and bring a joyful ambiance to our residents who are frail aged and living with Dementia in our aged care home in Woy Woy. Your Impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the clients cared for by HammondCare. Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • NDIS screening The commitment is one hour per week for a minimum of 6 months.
