This is a diverse organisation, with a well-respected leadership team and a professional outlook on every aspect of the business.About the Role Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will manage the operational credit process dealing with applications via broker and aggregator networks. This role has plenty of scope for growth and development, with the ability to further your career from a solid platform of Credit Management within the lucrative commercial lending sector. This role will support the business by driving and leading the credit function in the commercial lending sector for Australian SME lending customers. Maintaining all credit policies and procedures as well as actioning and updating risk plans is an essential requirement in the role.Key Responsibilities Full credit assessment of all transactions less than $3 million Reviewing valuations and ordering loan documents Review and action pre settlement call escalations and draft credit proposals Proactively manage the credit process by liaising with relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) Provide feedback and support on the credit innovation initiatives About You To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a similar role in the financial services industry, preferably at a non-bank lender. Commercial property or mortgages experience is required for this role. The applicant will currently hold a DLA, preferably of at least $2 million. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to show initiative, work independently and be results driven.
