As we continue to grow and rebrand, we are looking for a driven and experienced Estimating Project Manager to join our small but dedicated team. This role is a balanced mix of responsibilities: 60% Estimating – preparing and managing quotes for commercial flooring projects. 20% Project Management – overseeing project execution and client satisfaction. 20% Business Development – identifying and building relationships with new clients to drive business growth. About the Role This is a full-time permanent position based in Royal Park, SA. Some travel around Adelaide will be required, with occasional regional SA travel. The successful candidate must hold a valid South Australian driver’s licence and have a reliable vehicle. You will be responsible for quoting and securing projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects to meet client expectations and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Interpret plans and specifications to determine project scope. Prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates for commercial flooring projects. Source materials and obtain competitive pricing for labour, materials, and equipment. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve queries and confirm details. Prepare and submit tenders and quotations. Project Management (20%) Oversee key project milestones and ensure smooth execution. Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Manage project budgets, timelines, and variations. Ensure all work meets contract specifications and compliance requirements. Apply risk management strategies and maintain quality control. Business Development (20%) Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships. Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base. Attend networking events and trade shows to increase brand visibility. Collaborate with management to refine sales and marketing strategies. What We’re Looking For Proven ability to read plans, prepare quotes, and secure projects. Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities. Excellent business development and relationship-building skills. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Preferred But Not Essential Experience with estimating/take off software. Knowledge of flooring products and installation procedures.
