Job Description This position supports our Brisbane Branch in two key focus areas of this position, which is specified below based on the core responsibilities, but not limited to; Yard Coordinator - Overseeing the day-to-day running of the yard by ensuring that all planned and adhoc activities are executed on time as well as managing, supporting and training the yard workers. Look at opportunities to save cost and maintaining a high level of customer service within the yard. Commercial Logistics Coordinator (CMO) - Responsible for the commercial and logistical execution of all client deliveries, invoicing and returns. In addition, the role will include the responsibility for improvement of logistical performance, stock optimization and stock accuracy. Create orders / quotes to Discos in line with official work instruction and ensure timely update in alignment with Sales Ensure accurate and on time month-end closing Create and file all related commercial correspondences and reports. Coordinate inbound container shipments with Yard operations and support for outbound containers Execute physical full stocktake and cycle counts in line with company work instructions Organize/coordinate customer related transport organization and interstate transport Ensure material availability for and timely supply to customer in collaboration with Sales dept, Engineering dept and Yard Operations. Ensure updating of future customer return deliveries in alignment with Project Management Interact with internal stakeholders for upcoming returns, provide support documentation whenever required and scheduling of the same in alignment with Customer and Yard Operations. Qualifications At least 4 years’ experience in a hands-on operations position with exposure to working in a yard/warehouse. Experience within an admin operational position with exposure to warehousing systems and processes. A high level of competency and experience in Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Exceptional written communication skills (including spelling, grammar, and formatting) and the ability to write business correspondence, and procedures. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. High levels of accuracy, detail orientation and timeliness. Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.
