Hillgrove is located 23km east of Armidale in northern NSW. Located in the New England region, Armidale is a well-serviced regional city surrounded by natural beauty. It is centrally located between Brisbane and Sydney and is only a short drive to the popular Coffs Coast. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in supporting the development of the project and the ongoing success of our mining operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager with previous experience to oversee the financial performance, procurement, contract management, and stakeholder relationships to drive the success of the Hillgrove Project. Key Responsibilities: Lead the commercial function at Hillgrove (systems, processes, and people). Financial Management and Risk Control: Monitor and analyse financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and financial risk management to ensure alignment with company objectives. Establish and manage financial controls, reporting, and forecasting processes to support site operations and project development. Procurement, Contracts and Supply Chain Management: Lead tendering processes, contract negotiations, supplier agreements and procurement strategies to optimise value and ensure compliance with company goals. Manage key commercial contracts, supplier relationships, and procurement activities. Develop and implement systems for managing inventory and warehouse operations. Strategic Leadership & Business Development: Identify and drive business growth opportunities, develop long-term commercial strategies, and ensure alignment with market trends. Oversee sourcing strategies and supplier engagement to enhance operational efficiency. Stakeholder & IT Management: Provide expert commercial advice while maintaining strong relationships with government agencies, regulators, and community stakeholders to support project approvals and ensure compliance. Manage IT infrastructure, policies, and procurement to support site operations and transition from construction to operational phase. Required Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business or Commerce, or a related field (required). CPA or CA accreditation (preferred). Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience on operating mine sites with demonstrated involvement in site-based financial management. Demonstrated experience in tendering and contract management for large-scale projects. A strong communicator able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge: Familiarity with mining industry regulations, compliance and best practices in NSW. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience working with spreadsheets and email systems for reporting and communication. Sound working knowledge of Pronto ERP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably with experience in BI systems. Driver’s License: Other Requirements: Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance, obtained within the last three months upon request. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing testing during employment. Why Join Larvotto Resources?
