We are looking for someone hungry for the chance to roll their sleeves up, apply their expertise and significantly impact the direction of Tritton, delivering results that will position us for continued success in the years ahead. The Commercial Manager will lead the commercial department, primarily focused on guiding commercial decision making, data analysis, strategic plans and their execution for the Tritton operations. In addition to overseeing commercial functions such as accounting and contracts, provision of commercial analysis and advice to stakeholders at site and with the corporate team will be key to success in this role. Your leadership in data analysis, procurement, and strategic business planning will be instrumental in delivering business outcomes. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working closely with site leaders to develop and implement cost minimisation by analysing data to uncover and execute cost-saving initiatives. Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimise outcomes. Provide accounting services, ensuring compliance with corporate, legislative, and recognised accounting standards. Contribute to financial, procurement, and commercial expertise to develop annual business plans and budgets aligned with operational goals. Generate accurate business reports, track KPIs, and monitor site performance, including cost of production and efficiency. Managing the operation’s annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes. Overseeing governance of the capital expenditure. Overseeing procurement, warehousing, and contract administration, optimising supplier relationships and inventory management. Reviewing and preparing capital expenditure proposals and submitting financial reports, and compliance documents. Providing commercial and strategic planning support; guiding teams on internal controls and ensuring robust financial and operational compliance. What You Bring: We’re looking for an influential leader with strong stakeholder management skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will bring a solid background in commercial management, with a passion for making a difference, along with a sense of fun to be part of our team. Additionally, you will bring: Significant and demonstrable experience in a commercial environment; mining industry essential; Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, business management or related disciplines; Demonstrable experience influencing transformational, commercial outcomes. Strong negotiation skills with a successful track record in contract management and supplier relationships; Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills, with strong organisational skills; Proven track record of delivering successful commercial outcomes and exceptional data analysis; Contemporary knowledge of relative governance/legislative requirements; A desire to ‘get your hands dirty’ and see opportunities within challenges; Exceptional communication skills; Highly organised with strong attention to detail; Enthusiasm, commitment and self-direction.
