Qualifications & experience - What DSPG needs from our applicants Proven experience in Commercial & Residential Service and Maintenance plumbing Experience in Small Commercial Project Works Jetter & CCTV Experience Strong understanding of water, sewer, and hot water heating solutions Ability to read and interpret plans Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues Great communication, both written and verbal Experience in coordinating materials and other sub-contractors Proven ability to manage time effectively with strong troubleshooting skills Proficient with technology Current QLD Plumbing Licence and Construction Induction Card Personal tools & Manual Drivers Licence A Police Check, or the ability to obtain one Quoting experience would be advantageous Gas Licence, Backflow Endorsement, TMV, Blue Card, Licences for Civil Earthmoving, EWP, High Risk Work, WAH, Confined Space would be highly regarded but not essential Tasks & responsibilities Commercial & Residential maintenance plumbing through a variety of sites and projects Handling plumbing emergencies efficiently and professionally Installing pipes, drainage systems, sinks, toilets, and hot water units Testing systems for leaks and other problems Performing inspections and providing advice to homeowners or clients Selecting cost-effective, quality products for installation and repair Unblocking drains and conducting drain camera work Providing time and cost estimates beforehand Effectively communicating with all stakeholders Being polite and respectful of clients and their properties Willingness to upskill and progress within the maintenance division Proactive in utilizing company software for project management & safety Available to work Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays as required Occasional OnCall Roster (currently once every 3 months) Package options available to the right applicant (e.g., Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Phone Allowance) How do your skills match this job?
