Join the dynamic and innovative Swinburne Commercialisation Innovation team HEW 9 salary + 17% super About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercialisation Manager for Health & Medtech.Working closely with the Head of Commercialisation Health & MedTech, the Commercialisation Manager will lead the creation, development, and delivery of internal and external commercialisation opportunities. This includes forming industry partnerships, engaging with researchers, licensing intellectual property, and creating new ventures.The role involves managing the full lifecycle of commercialisation projects, from identifying opportunities to protecting, developing, marketing, and investing in them. The successful candidate will collaborate with researchers, founders, inventors, and entrepreneurs to drive market-led ventures through the university’s innovation studio.Strong stakeholder management will be key, as the role requires developing strong relationships with commercial partners, investors, start-ups, and funders. This is an opportunity to shape impactful ventures in Health and MedTech, driving innovation and entrepreneurship at Swinburne.About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: Demonstrated experience in business engagement and relationship development credentials, with experience of the realities of setting-up and growing commercial businesses in the Health and MedTech area. Demonstrated ability to deliver intellectual property and/or research capability commercialisation initiatives through own actions. Demonstrated experience in new venture transactions. Leading by influence: proven ability to be persuasive and collaborative with a diverse range of stakeholders, including strong verbal and written communication skills and exemplary negotiation skills.
