Pharmacycle is Australia’s leading pharmaceutical blister pack recycling program, making it easy for individuals and pharmacies to responsibly recycle used blister packs. As we continue to expand our impact, we’re looking for a Comms & Marketing Manager to help drive awareness, engagement, and growth. About the Role As Comms & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing, communications, and engagement initiatives that elevate Pharmacycle’s brand, drive program participation, and strengthen partnerships. This role is ideal for a purpose-driven marketing professional with a passion for sustainability, healthcare, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to increase Pharmacycle’s brand awareness and participation. Lead the creation of compelling marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional media. Oversee Pharmacycle’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels. Drive content marketing initiatives, including website updates, blogs, case studies, and EDMs. Monitor and analyse marketing performance, optimising strategies for maximum engagement. Content Creation & Social Media: Manage and grow Pharmacycle’s presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and emerging channels. Create engaging social media content, including reels, infographics, and campaign visuals. Develop video and multimedia content to highlight Pharmacycle’s impact and processes. Monitor social media trends and adjust strategy to maximize reach and engagement. Stakeholder & Community Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmacies, healthcare brands, sustainability partners, and government bodies. Support communications with Pharmacycle’s pharmacy partners and corporate sponsors, ensuring alignment on marketing initiatives. Manage media relations, securing press coverage and thought leadership opportunities. Represent Pharmacycle at industry events, conferences, and community engagement initiatives. Campaigns & Public Relations: Lead national campaigns, including Pharmacycle’s initiatives during National Recycling Week and other sustainability events. Develop media releases, opinion pieces, and key messaging to position Pharmacycle as an industry leader. Coordinate collaborations with environmental organizations, councils, and corporate partners. What We're Looking For Experience: 5+ years in communications, marketing, or a related field, preferably in sustainability, healthcare, FMCG or resource recovery. Strategic mindset: Ability to develop and execute marketing and communications plans aligned with Pharmacycle’s mission. Content creation skills: Strong copywriting, storytelling, and digital content development skills. Social media expertise: Proven experience managing social media accounts and driving engagement. Stakeholder management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Project management: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
